Animal Medical Care is a veterinary practice in Brookings, South Dakota. AMC specializes in both large and small animal medicine with a team of five veterinarians all specializing in different aspects of animal care. In addition to our team of qualified veterinarians, AMC has a team of talented veterinary technicians, office employees and animal assistants. AMC is equipped with the technology needed to care for your pet including digital x-ray, a modern dental station, 3 endoscopes, bone orthopedic equipment, 3 gas anesthetic machines, anesthetic monitoring equipment and a surgical and therapeutic laser.

My normal vet wouldn't do an x-ray and completely misdiagnosed my dogs problem after 2 days he was not well at all. I took him to animal medical care without an appointment they were extremely busy but worked my dog in and quickly gave him an exam and x-ray and determined he had a rock lodged in his small intestine. There surgeon was gone for the week but were able to quickly get him into surgery in Sioux Falls. Greatful for the caring and compassionate staff at animal medical care. I will be taking all of my pets to them from now on.

Excellent care for my dog after a 4”x 6” patch of skin from her neck and chest was ripped. I called the after hour’s telephone at 7:15 pm and Dr. Adam and two associates met me at the clinic in 45 minutes, during a tornado warning. I believe he brought his family to be safe. Great care and 4 follow up visits for a very affordable price … believe me, I have great experience in this area. I live 190 miles east in Minnesota but will see Dr Adam again. He saved my dog in a great manner and still follows up. 10.11.2017

They have done a tremendous job with my dog and am very happy with the help he gets and if it’s close to closing and need something they will usually wait a little past to try and help out! Also very reasonably priced and very good and caring vets!!!!

I would highly recommend for animals of all types! Very reasonably priced. Lots of goodies to purchase as well.
