What can I say about this place. The atmosphere was very nice, the food was pretty good, and the owner was a very nice person with a great dining voice. With that said, the service was terrible. We sat at our table for 20 min before someone even acknowledged us, and it wasn't even busy. While the waiter was taking our order he was sweating profusely, and was very annoyed when my wife changed her drink order. I would definitely order from here for pickup but I would not go out to dinner here again. I was more annoyed than anything.

My husband and I stopped in about two weeks ago for a quick bite before going to a show at the Meadowlands and we were on a tight time frame, the staff was great, accommodating and fast. There were so many things on the menu we wanted to try so we will actually be going back this weekend for Mother's day.  My husband had a steak sandwich and i had a steak salad, both were GREAT! Can't wait to try the cheesecake

Typical Italian New Jersey deli menu and taste. As good as the many other Italian deli’s I’ve frequented. The service was, well, cold. I arrived mid afternoon and we felt like interlopers not like welcome guests. Heck, I would have settled for a hello and can I help you? Instead we basically wandered into an illogical setup, grabbed a paper menu from near the door, and eventually walked to a side counter to ask if we could place an order. Then we browsed the shop area. I work in Branding and Marketing and could only think of ways to vastly improve this place.

Very interesting place. Part restaurant, part bar, part deli, part shop. Ordered the 'friend' sandwich and a slice of cheesecake. Both were delicious. Had a very nice atmosphere in there, didn't feel like America. Will definitely be going there again before I leave NJ. Top notch

Horrible service.....food was a joke. Live band was good though and the owners voice is good too. He sings with the live band at night. Would never go back or recommend . There was one good waiter named tootsie or something who made the night tolerable because otherwise I would have lost it on them...1h30 minutes to get our food. Waiter never checked on us. Waitress in back at the bar kept throwing the dirty dishes into their dirty dish tray making such a racket for nothing. Honestly avoid this place. The reviews are not accurate so it's deceiving.
