Caring and compassionate staff. All the doctors are wonderful. Prices are reasonable and getting an appointment is quick and painless. Love the people there!

If anyone is planning to bring a bird here, DO NOT!! This place is absolute trash. Yes the environment may be clean, but the people are absolutely disgusting and rude. The last time I brought my bird here for her nail and beak trim was around 2 years ago. We were sitting in the lobby for around 20 minutes until I finally got to go inside the checkup room. The doctor was ok but she didn’t talk to myself and my dad about ANYTHING. She took my bird, shut the door, and came out an hour later. The thing was, there was NO DIFFERENCE. In my birds nails or beak. I can assure you she did nothing at all. The prices were also outrageous. We payed around $200. The thing was, I didn’t hear or see anything at all when she was “trimming” her nails and beak. For all I could’ve known, she could’ve hurt my baby. If y’all need to get your birds nails and wings trimmed, I recommend Joes Exotic Birds, they let you see what they’re doing and are specialized in avian care AND it’s 5/10/15 dollars (depends on your bird. If you need to get your birds beak trimmed. Go to the Grayslake animal hospital. Like others said before. Do NOT GO HERE
