Carpet is very dirty.  Holes in the walls.  Dirty bathrooms.  Staff using profanity and complaining. Food ok as usual. Waitress forgot straws.  Fun place to have drinks and hang. Each bartender follows own drink recipe, so drink taste and strength varied upon who made the drink.

Never even sat down,  We had been on vacation and on our way home after hours on the road pulled in for some lunch. There are 8 of us in our group and the time we walked in the door the young lady at the door rolled her eyes at us and then it took a good five minutes for her to decide to seat us. She asked did we all have to sit at the same table, and well yes that was the idea. She went to one side of the building doing something and talking to another waitress to the other side talking to another waitress. Then, after several glares she stood by a table and I think mumbled that the table was for us. Well, by this time we got the picture that they did not want our business so we took our money across the street to the chinese place where they were extremely friendly and the food was delicious.

Passing through on a road trip, and I thought I would share my impression. The service was timely, to the point that it nearly feel rushed. The server was at our table before we could open the menus. The food was standard Applebee's chain food fare: nothing to be excited about. It wasn't seasoned, and my food was barely warm. The three stars are more for how the staff handled my specific request to have my steak cooked rare. I said it three times to the server. She seemed to understand and I don't see her at any fault for this oversight. The steak came out medium well, with only the very middle of the center of the steak pink at all. I told her, and she asked if I wanted another, but I declined. We are on a road trip and I was, in all honesty, just really hungry. As I was finishing the steak, some man, I assume the GM, came over and asked if it was my steak that was overcooked, I said yes, and he said he would take it off the bill, which he did. I barely got out the thank you when he was gone again without another word. This left me more flummoxed than the food itself. Should not a manager have better customer service skills? Shouldn't any cook worth their salt know how to not overcook a steak? 

In addition, the women's bathroom was clearly neglected. I informed a server and when we visited again before leaving, there was toilet paper and towels again. 

Also, the doors were really, really heavy. My daughter could never had opened the bathroom by herself. Yikes.

This was an overall excellent experience. The food was hot, reasonably priced, very well prepared and the service was spot on. Our waitress was the correct amount of attentive.

The food was awesome and the Server Ariel was great even though she was new and didn't pick up on the small things a server should like refills but other than that her personality was bubbly and had a beautiful smile. I will definitely be back!!!
