Applebee's Grill + Bar

Service was excellent. We had the Nachos which were really good and a burger with fries. The burger was overcooked and extremely dry, although it was flavorful. Pity as the food st Applebee's is normally quite good.

First let’s start by saying my wife and I go to the Applebees in Clearwater by our house for burger night pretty regularly, that being said everything about this location was much better starting with the restaurant itself, this one was cleaner, but the staff was so much more attentive to everything about our order, our server Chris was better than any server we ever had in Clearwater or any other Applebees for that matter, he was spot on with service and even better with his attitude, he could teach the servers in Clearwater a lesson, that being said we will continue to go to Clearwater but we will hope someday they learn what it is they actually do, CUSTOMER SERVICE. Chris thank you for making our meal better by being you!

The service was very slow, and restaurant about 25% capacity between 6h30 and 8pm and the food not so great. I had half rack of ribs,and they were not as advertised, not fresh and tender off the bone... they were hard, had to use knife to cut ribs, and portion was small. Should have known better...If you come here, the burger is probably a safe bet.

Just DON’T! Misleading false advertising and deplorable service. I sat on a table for 27 minutes and no one approached me until I decided to stand at the bar, that I asked for service to a disgusted waiter that saw me seating the entire time. She said that they are closed, then I referenced the store schedule and the promotion “Open late” at the door that says that the restaurant is open until 1:00AM. The waiter then said: “We all know Sir, but we closed at 12:00AM”with inappropriate attitude.

When you walk in a place you expect to get acknowledged then seated right?! Don't expect it here. You might wait about 10 minutes before being seated by one of the people who look so miserable to be working. Also, never expect to see a manager as I'm sure they hide in the kitchen and never come out! I'm ashamed to call this my neighborhood Applebee's. And yet... I'll still go there about 3 to 4 times a year as their food is delicious! I sit by the bar anytime to get a bit better service and I can sit myself there!!! My family and I came here for lunch on 2/16/2023. There were only 2 people working that day. Our server, and I believe also host, was Chris W. The service was absolutely amazing! He was on top of everything, very quick, and hard working. Always made sure we had everything we needed. And he was so friendly. I can’t say enough good things. This was honestly the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant, and I’ve eaten at some nice places known for good service. This literally topped them. I’m going to make sure I email the company so he can be recognized for his work. If Chris W ever reads this: thank you for the great service! I hope the tip showed our appreciation. And if we could afford to tip double our bill we would have.

Service was horrible forever to be seated that was clue to leave but my husband like Applebee’s We was seated took forever to take order for drinks. Then we realized one waiter for tables one waiter for the bar and someone eventually comes to the door to seat you. We order the food simple since short staff Double crunch wings had No crunch was fatty soft to touch but smothered in buffalo sauce order regular waffle fries and don’t know what was on the fries and a double cheeseburger dry with no condiments and it took a long time for the waiter to come back and I let her know about the food she apologized and said she was going to do a new order took a long time and when she came back we was giving the check. The table before us request the manager so we waited to speak with the manager and the manager never comes to the table but he comes out to cashier area and looks over at us but never comes over I went to check out and eventually the couple came out as well…I tried this location several times previously and walk out and wished I did last night… I don’t know what happened to the previous manager but they should not open with short staff or Manager need to help with taken orders and seating customer so should the person that stand at the door it was not busy Less then 20 people and service was that horrible….. I came to this place to eat and the customer service is bad, the food seems overheated and everything is a mess please clean the staff or train them better forgive them , the only thing that I accept is the wings is the only good thing they have

Last night our server let us know they were short staffed, but you could not tell. The service and good were excellent. Keep it up. I'm here from Michigan and it's great to find familiar spots to eat while traveling.

I had dinner at Applebees with my waiter Marcel. Overall, the service was really good and the price point was extremely fair. If you’re looking for a very standard American style diner, it’s hard to go wrong with this place. The 2 for 1 long islands I got were appropriately strong and the $10 half rack of ribs came out much better than expected. This will probably becomes a regular joint a hang out at due to the price and convenience.
