In January 2018 we attended to Appleby Home Hardware at 5111 New St, Burlington and consulted with the A/Mgr Louise to purchase bathroom vanities,  counter tops & paint. During the consultation process, both Louise and other staff members went to great lengths to meet our demands, which included multiple consultations, recommendations & education on the quality of their products and warranties. Needless to say, we were most impressed with their customer service and the  quality of the products we purchased. Please accept our sincere thanks & appreciation for your excellent customer service from both you and your staff. You can rest assure that without trepidation we will return to your store in the future and highly recommend it to others.

I do not recommend this Home Hardware for your kitchen renovation. Ours was a complete disaster. We actually had to redo the whole renovation at our expense. This was the worse customer service I've ever experienced. I am also in the customer service business and was just completely blown away with the lack of response to our situation. They simply did not care. We talked to management to try and work out a solution but they simply told us that we were on our own and they walked away from their renovation for us to deal with it on our own. They are not equipped to manage these sort of renovations. They are a hardware store and that is what they should specialize in. I can't even put my disappointment into words. We work and live in this community and try and support locally run businesses. I think my mistake that I was very easy going and trusted that they would do a good job and see the renovation through and that was a mistake.

Fantastic store has everything you would ever need for your home. It's a gem but the real treasure is the amazing staff who are so helpful.

Never have I written a review before but the sheer disregard for the customer warrants this. 
Bought Bathroom vanity at Appleby Home hardware in Burlington Jan 28/18, big mistake. Seven weeks after the vanity was supposed to have been delivered we finally receive another customer’s cabinet which was exchanged the following day (ten weeks in total). Incurred extra cost as our contractor was onsite for install and our cabinet didn't arrive more than once.  The owner of this Home Hardware indicated we had no reason to be angry as "we got one heck of a deal". In his eyes your time or your contractors time is worth nothing!!! offered us a $100.00 which is peanuts compared to what it cost us, not to mention being without the use of the bathroom in the meantime. All kinds of excuses' no responsibility taken. Owner said, “this was our problem and we should never have scheduled install or our renovation based on delivery dates given by them”?  How could this be our problem? we placed the order under the pretense that delivery was three weeks and paid on that date in full. The only mistake we made is ordering from this Home Hardware. Asked them why they would continue with running vanity sales In March and April when they could not deliver product from January and received no answer.   So much for shop Canadian

We made a decision to update our kitchen earlier this year.  We looked into repainting the existing cabinets, then into refacing.  Neither of those choices got us to where we wanted to be.  Tim, at Appleby Home Hardware, suggested that we speak to Asif (their kitchen renovation specialist) about replacing the cabinetry.  Asif was excellent to deal with.  He offered suggestions on how to reconfigure the kitchen to maximize our space and was happy to answer any of our questions.  Ultimately, we chose to work with Asif and Appleby Home Hardware on our reno project and we have not been disappointed.  The (Canadian made) cabinets arrived and were installed well and on time.  Asif connected us to Cambria countertops and we have been very impressed with their product and the quality of their work.  In summary, we are very happy with our experience working with Asif and Appleby Home Hardware.  Their product quality, customer service and pricing are all top notch!  I would definitely recommend them for your kitchen reno project.
