My sister took me here for my birthday back in November. I had the stuffed flounder and it was awesome! The scenery is also great with lots of different types of ocean fish swimming around everywhere around you. It has a very soothing effect and I found it very relaxing. The service was excellent and so where the drinks. I had a mango mojito and I got to keep the hurricane glass as a souvenir. I'm not sure if there are other locations but the one I went to was on the Kemah Boardwalk, where you can explore different shops, restaurants, and some pretty thrilling rides.

Under the Sea Valentines Dinner  My husband and I returned to the Aquarium to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.  When we arrived, we saw a couple that was leaving due to not being served. After sitting at our table, a family was seated next to us. They left their table after not being served as well. For us the ambiance was just a special this time with a gold fish bowl decorating the table and roses handed out to the women. The first course was appetizers which were great, spot on and delicious. The second course was a salad which was also great. The main dishes were not up to the quality that they should be for that restaurant.  The risotto was a big lump; the chicken was over cooked while it sat in the buffet pan. Another couple returned their food as it was served to them too soon. Overall the main dish and desserts were not that great. I do not plan to return for a special event.

We made reservations 
First time there 
We got there at 4
There was my family and another larger group
That's all there was in the dining area
Anyway,
So I told them we had a reservation and the guy said "okay let me check if we have a table ready for you and I will let you know" 
And I wait about 20 minutes and he's just standing there not doing anything 
I get up again and ask and he finally got us to a table
I have no idea what took so long if there was no one besides another family. 
We sit down and it takes 10-15 min for a waiter to even get to us. We had to ask a bus boy for a waiter.
Then the waiter that finally got to us had a hint of an attitude. 
So we order our food and our drinks all at the same time. 
I got the fish tacos, and the tortillas were cold and stale. Hard to bite through the corn tortillas. I had to tell them to take it away. 
It's just not really worth it especially for the price. 
We were unsatisfied.
The only reason I gave it a 2 is because of how pretty it looks.

The only reason there are 2 stars is because the fish and atmosphere is beautiful! Otherwise the service is beyond slow! It took 45 min to get food and another 45 min to get our ticket! They entered in my husbands order wrong and had to remake his steak! We also watched dirty tables around us stay dirty for a long time! Do not go here! Go to the downtown location! This need to be addressed!

We had lunch on a Saturday afternoon in February.  We we're seated right away and offered drinks quickly with no pressure to order.  We had a dozen oysters on the half shell, Shrimp Kisses, Caesar salad, the Captains Plate, the Bayou Endoille, and Gulf Coconut shrimp. All well prepared and presented.  Service provided by Kevin was top notch.  My first visit to the Houston area was great and can't wait to come back and will definitely come back to The Aquarium.
