This is not my first visit to Landry’s in Kemah. I’ve had good food and service from this location in the past. But tonight I had the worst dining experience in my life. Not exaggerating. My family and I were seated promptly and that was the end of promptness. No one came to our table for 15-20 min until I got up and asked the hostess for a server. Our server came and and took our drink and app order. Fine. Drinks came after 10 minutes and entree orders taken. Apps came by a different server after 30 minutes. This server was clueless to whether the plates he brought out to us belonged to our table. He dropped off oysters and was hesitant to drop off the crab dip until I told him yes we did order that. Another 30 minutes go by as we ate our appetizers that I then noticed water dripping on my pant leg. I look on the table and see that the now melted ice from the oysters had overflowed the plate and pour onto the table and onto myself. I was frustrated at this point but also starving and decided to wait for our entrees. We then noticed a family of stray cats wondering along the patio tables moving towards us. Yes. Stray cats. One of the cats began to go under our table for crumbs and came back after repeated efforts to make it go away. This was the moment we all decided enough was enough and got up and left. Arrived around 5pm and left after 7pm for water, bread and 3 apps. On top of having the worst dining experience ever, I had the pleasure of paying for that experience. It’s like watching a barber butcher your hair beyond belief for almost 2 hours and then he looks at you with his hand out for you to pay him for his “service”. I’m not sure what has happened to this place since the last visit but needless to say I will not be returning.

Good selection of seafood and helpful staff. The restaurant also has a great view of the boardwalk. The menu includes a daily selection of fish. I had the crab cake sandwich and I can recommend it.

Fantastic food excellent service we had a dozen raw oysters and calamari for an appetizer my wife had the seafood platter which had a little bit of everything it was all cooked properly and very delicious I had the snow crab legs they were very delicious and fresh tasting overall our experience was outstanding in the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great quality meal.

Not sure what happened to this place but it sure has gone down hill, imo. A couple of years ago, I left a 4 star rating... but no longer. The food was bland and the breading was too thick on the fried shrimp. Oh well, at least I didn't get ill from improper handling or storage of the seafood.

The food wasn't as seasoned as I prefer, the gumbo was just OK. Service was wonderful and the ambiance was very nice. LOVE the salad! A bit overpriced for what you get, Pappadeaux has larger portions for the same price and the food is much tastier. The drinks are wonderful!
