We where told there would be a 15 minute wait to set up a table it took 38 minutes. Steak was cold and dry they completely forgot to place an order for one of my 3 kids dinner, otherwise service was good but wish I would have gone to papasitos. People say this place is good but I can't imagine how.

The Saltgrass in Kemah is my all time favorite. When guests come from out of town the Saltgrass is top on the list of places to go. The food is outstanding and the service is great. You have to try the bacon wrapped quail, perfection.

Seated promptly with bay view, (didn’t cringe when I walk in with my 4 kids like some places, lol). Saltgrass is one of our families all around favorites, and this is one of the best! Very well managed, and our waitress was phenomenal (all except for the corny jokes Charla!)

Third time here and every time the food is worse. Came with my family, party of 8. My order was wrong. My wife's steak was dry inside, burnt outside and inedible, such as another one of my kids' . My oldest son had us touch his steak. It was completely cold. 

Two of the plates were truly inedible and were sent back, but came when we were ready to leave. The waitress put a lot of pressure for us to leave and even though the manager, Kelly, did come back and apologized and made sure they didn't screw up, it would have been nice to have a dessert on the house or a discount, considering that two people of our party couldn't have dinner and had to take their plates to go. 

So, summary: overpriced, good meats but AWFUL cooking, bad service and management that seemed to have been unable to help . Maybe they are really used to fails like this?

I should have taken pictures but didn't want to keep embarrassing our night out.

We're never going to set foot there again. Food and service is at a level of a really bad Outback with the prices of a Perry's.

Meh. The server was friendly and polite. The food wasn't the best. Be prepared to pay jacked up prices.
