I didn’t use this place. Unfortunately, I called the EMERGENCY number, 30 minutes before they opened, I spoke to an actual human and explained I had sewer water coming up thru bathtub and toilet Gross I told him it is URGENT. Never got a call back! It’s 3:57 pm. I finally called them, told them no one got back to me. Got a “sorry”. I had to join the gym this morning, so I can shower for work, manage BODILY functions, pee in the backyard ya, I admitted it! Long story short. Emergency plumbing? Ya, not so much here. The earliest they can come is between 7AM -11 AM tomorrow. Seriously? Wouldn’t I be considered first in line? Whatever. If you got that kind of time, and no emergency, there reasonable. But if you don’t, you better have a back up plan if you call this place. Luckily, I have been homeless before, so I will survive. Good luck. Thanks for no call back!
Consistent with previous negative reviews. Refuses to hear valid violations of ethical and professional conducts. Denies obvious evidence. The board members showed complete lack of interest in our case, determined the outcome before even hearing the complainant. The investigator failed to explain how the obvious evidence determined “there was no evidence” in support of violation. Their rules are spelled out clearly in their guidebook, but the Board does not acknowledge their own standards. We will be seeking additional remedies from upper authorities as well as legal if necessary. What a shameful establishment. People that should be protecting our community, families and children, cover up serious violations that have very significant consequences and ruin people’s lives.
The most ridiculously under-qualified persons that could ever head a board. Literally nobody in the field respects the board and it’s grossly apparent that they lack any professionalism or knowledge of therapy and the obstacles therapists encounter. The board places zero value in experience that creates clientele connection. A complete joke of a regulatory body. As long as your record is squeaky-clean, you’ll get a license. Heaven-forbid you have ever made a bad decision, been a victim of circumstance, or recovered from an addiction yourself; you’re no longer qualified. If you don’t see the Irony in that, then you should not be helping others. The Board does not believe in the recovery model and their actions show such. Truly a joke. A board member told me, ‘We just go through the motions, ask all the questions were told, and check all the boxes’ when I spoke to them. This verified what has been said all along. The Board is A political sea that you had better be ready to navigate. Make sure they ‘like’ you or you’ll pay the price with your career. I would give them negative stars if I could. Also, don’t expect them to return any correspondence. They’re ‘busy’. Doing what, nobody knows.
Disgusting and unethical. Everyone here. Why did an actual board member put a 5 star review for her board? Conflict of interest? I have been attending several board meetings to see what is going on and as an advocate who works with the teacher's union and thr DOC union I think we need to get state representatives involved, have term limits on the members who act like corrupt politicians and get them out. The investigative team as well. The bias runs deep and all across the board. I will be posting a website we can be contacted at soon to get this going. Anyone who has been wronged or had difficulty obtaining licensure feel free to contact me.
From the admin assistant up to the director, everyone has been responsive and supportive.
Recently moved to AZ from MN. I found the staff to be kind, courteous, professional and more than helpful. I submitted numerous emails for assistance/guidance and each one was answered same or next day. The longest delay was from Friday to Monday. I thought their professionalism and patience went beyond my expectations. Thank you.
The most unprofessional unethical near illegal practices I've ever seen in my life. They ruin people's lives without even hearing other sides of the story. They couldn't care less about anybody. There are absolutely pathetic unprofessional and don't know half of anything about Behavioral Health. They were trying to recommend self-help and social supports for an individuals with substance abuse problems. They can only think of a a how pathetic is that. And these are the people that we have to answer to. They take money from someone whose license is suspended refuse to give it back when they would give up their license. They do whatever they want they get any information they want with bologna subpoenas it's an absolute circus the kangaroo Court is true
A place of zero experience and zero regard. You give a few people with masters degrees some power and it goes to their heads. AZ is know for the worst board in the USA>
I am amazed at the lack of support towards up and coming therapists as well as unfounded denials without any consideration of actual accreditation or willing to have a discussion. Coming from an agency who's job is to help and support the community I find this elitist and ironic. You are driving many well qualified therapists to consider other career's and move to other states. Hopefully others will reach out and some changes can be made as I know this state has a need for great therapists. The fact that many have needed to resort to getting legal council to push through paperwork that should be nothing more than a regular qualifying barrier is a clear sign of a problem.
This state agency is absolutely worthless. They have made it impossible for you to reach, i.e. talk to anyone on staff there. They don't answer the phone; provide only fax numbers; or want you to email them. Good luck if you need to speak to someone urgently. Someone needs to call 911 and arrange a well check......maybe there is no one there. Pitiful
