First time here, wont be the last. Very friendly service, from both the bar side and food side. Got to sample a few ciders before making a choice. Must have been good choices, they ran out of two of the three after pouring the beers, but that gave us an opportunity to try others thankfully. Food was amazing, I went with the spicy tenderloin, which was just as advertised. Be back soon Armored Guardens!
Great place for good quick food, I recommend the egg rolls and an inexhaustible selection for 100+ beers on tap…seriously. Food is window-ordered so it’s an especially easy place to dip in and out of quickly
It was okay...it was a Sunday afternoon and some people were very loud and unfortunately some were yelling...which made it difficult to carry on a conversation at out table. I had the Armored BLT it had good flavor except the bread had way too much butter on it which made it greasy. My husband loved his sandwich which was The Emily.
I was so excited to come here due to hearing about their great beer selection, so I finally made it there. The food was ok but for the price it’s not that good. The beer selection though good I guess for the area is not great. Maybe due to being to other places like El Bait Shop in Des Moines or City Tap in Cleveland it soured this but when 10-15 of your beers are Bud’s, Millers, etc it’s a little disappointing. The cost of the beer I will say is ok, especially when compared to the price of the food.
This place has good cheap wings on Saturdays or Sundays I believe, and 5 dollar burger baskets on Wednesdays. The food here isn't over the top good, but I've never been disappointed with it either. They have 100+ beers on tap, so lots to choose from if you're looking for that! The patio outside is very nice, but the inside can get loud quickly especially with the clientele that frequents here in my experience mostly college aged kids who come in big groups. Overall if you can deal with the noise, or can find a seat outside I highly recommend this place, never had bad service here :
Visiting my niece in Iowa from Wisconsin for a "girls weekend" with the my 3 sisters & 5 nieces in my family. We went to Armored Gardens for lunch on the Saturday of our weekend. The food was AMAZING and the Bloody Marys....OUTRAGEOUSLY AWESOME!! They put a while garden of veggies and such in them. It was a little spicy, actually pretty spicy. I asked for NOT very spicy. I got 3 shakes of the Tabasco sauce. My niece said spicy but not crazy spicy...she got 7 shakes of Tabasco. I wonder how many shakes you get if you don't say anything about spicy or not spicy. It was still good as all get out! So, the moral of my story.....Armored Gardens has AMAZING food and AMAZING drinks. They do have 100 I think 100+ beers on tap but I wasn't in the mood super hungry to read the list just to end up getting Miller High Life I'm from Milwaukee, gotta represent...plus, I honestly don't venture outta my shell with food/drinks. The bartender and other workers were awesome. Really a great place and well worth the trip from Wisconsin for a burger and Bloody Mary

My grilled chicken salad was huge and delicious. The BLT was full of and yummy. Bartender, cute but just kind there.Food: 5/5
The patio is awesome. Enjoyed the $5 burger basket and fries on a Wednesday night. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, highly recommend.....A+
First time to eat at Armored Gardens. A great selection of beer and selzers as they have about 100 to choose from. The food was very good. My wife had the smash burger and our friend ordered that as well. I had the chicken tenders special which was very good as well. You order your own food at the counter and they then deliver it to you. Very nice evening to sit outside.
