Has to be one of the best finds thus far! Great food, great service! This is what’s being cooked in grandmas kitchen on Sunday morning. It’s simply a hug on plate, they even slice the potatoes fresh to order. Prices are amazing and very affordable. Plus a little added touch all the coffee cups are slightly different and this little guy made me so happy! I can’t wait to go back!
I've tried all the breakfast spots in the Quad Cities. Rocks takes the #1 spot! Consistently quality food for a reasonable price. The place is a true greasy spoon, diner/dive. Nothing fancy as far as decor goes. Just a quality spot to get a awesome meal. Looking forward to trying the lunch menu. My favorites are George's skillet and the breakfast burrito. Pancakes are huge and the French toast and biscuits and gravy were excellent.
I took my granddaughters for lunch after their swim meet and before their brothers swim meet started. The kids menu small pancake was not small at all. It came with bacon or sausage. My other granddaughter ordered the chicken strip and fries. They were served piping hot. I had the 3 egg vegie omelet with crispy hash browns. Both were good and I have some omelet leftover for tomorrow. Friendly place and good service.
I LOVE great breakfast spots. This place was fantastic! Regular fare food, not fancy with the flavor BUT everything was exactly like you'd expect, except my Pancake. It was the best damn pancake I've ever had in my life! And it wasn't even my main meal! Country fried steak was awesome and I will come back for their home-made corned beef hash!!
My wife and I frequent thus phenomenal food facility for flavorful feasts! A+ every time! BTW, Thank you for your service Rock!Food: 5/5
Awesome food and prices and portions. All very good. We both got breakfast skillets. It's enough food for 2 meals. We also tried 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy to split. Wow great biscuits and gravy with large pieces of sausage.
Where to begin… First time going and as soon as we walked in we weren’t sure of the place. After visiting numerous restaurants with 30+ min wait times, we decided to stick it out. I regret it now. Ceiling tiles were missing, the cup on the table with creamers was filthy. They brought out a very old high chair for my kid which was also filthy. They had a random tank with a turtle in it, couldn’t even tell there was one in there at first because it was caked in scum. Service was incredibly slow! We walked out after waiting an hour for a cheeseburger, a pancake, bacon and potatoes. The entire place was a mess and cramped. Would not recommend to anyone.
Great little hole in the wall place, with the best corned beef hash! Likely to be a regular place for family breakfast.Recommended dishesHash Browns, George's Skillet
Awesome little diner! The food was excellent! I had the breakfast burrito with sour cream and salsa. My niece had the biggest pancakes! She loved them so much.
Really great food, excellent customer service, and I like it
