We discovered Arsenal Cider at a cider fest in Philadelphia years back. We were not disappointed when we finally got out to them in Pittsburgh. We visited the Wexford and Liberty Ave. locations. Both had friendly staff and delicious cider. We wish they were closer or at least available in our area.
A very cool bar, with alot of interesting drink options as well as in house brews. They also have a sorbet machine, and depending on the day will have a different drink available to be made into one. They are so delicious. I recommend the broken hearts cider. Lots of space to sit and the staff are super friendly. They have an upstairs loft with heaters, and a spacious party room in the back. Parking isnt too rough but its best to get their early as it does share it with another bar behind it.
We had a wonderful time here! There's a massive selection of ciders, beers, wines and more. Upstairs theres a beautiful covered deck to sit and enjoy. The staff is super friendly and does a great job. Looking forward to coming again!
This was my first time at this Arsenal Cider House in Dormont, I frequently go to Lawrenceville. I was very excited to see the new house! It's a large open area inside warm and inviting and very nice! Of course filled with every flavor of cider imaginable too. Nice upstairs deck as well. The owners hard work of the new business shows!
Always great ciders on tap and bring some growlers home of the seasonal favorites. The paninis they offer are perfect for a quick bite and they offer a vegetarian friendly grilled cheese. The finale of the night is always the alcoholic sorbet which is always fun even in the winter
Excellent atmosphere, wait staff, and live music at Dormont location on this Friday night. And that was before imbibing the ciders! Offering flights of 4 different ciders to fine tune your taste, Arsenal also offers take-home growlers. I was a first-time customer, but I'm sure it will not be my last time.
They make their own cider and they make a really good range of ciders! Rotating guest taps and an extensive bottles and cans list make this a must try! Also, get the pretzels!
The cider is tasty. The vegan options are limited, though the hummus is very good. Our server was very personable and was obviously very knowledgeable about the items on the menu.
Stopped in for a beverage and ended up trying a few. The Cinnamon Snowbound and Oh Pear, Son! Were crowd favorites. We also really enjoyed our grilled cheeses. The place is roomy with great bar seating. The bartenders were very friendly.
I love Arsenal Cider. And the zesty Italian sandwich they have is really really good in my book. Whenever they have Snowbound Cinnamon is my favorite time to get my growlers filled. But their Archibald's Ado is pretty tasty as well.
