Anyone who plans to shop at Art Van on Hall Road or the corporate location in Warren, DON'T. I usually don't call out bad customer service because the people who are handling the case will satisfy the customer no matter what the issue is, especially if it was an error an employee made. But not for Art Van. My family and I have been with them for many years and the experience I've had was beyond terrible with corporate. 
I received a defective mattress protector and the lady I spoke with at the hall road location (where I originally purchased my products) stated she would do the exchange. They returned this item on their end and I was unable to do an exchange. Now, since they refunded me for the product (which i was unaware of until today) they don't find it right to exchange a defective product. Corporate told me the same exact thing. So that is two employee errors, telling me they can do the exchange and secondly, returning a product I still have possession for. 
The lady at corporate asked me if I can name one place that would exchange a defective product that I technically got for free?.... Almost everywhere, including Amazon and most retailers. That's how they keep loyal customers because of the good customer service they provide. 
Feel free to pass on this message to anyone who plans to buy products at either of these locations.

All sales associates were very helpful. As usual, a little more persistent than we would like, but we successfully found couches and were advised on all of our color and fabric questions. removed 1 star because the payment process took a long time, and one of the promotions was forgotten so we had to re-do some paperwork.

Sales people are friendly and explained the questions I had, it was a pleasant visit.. they were not pushy.

Randall has been the only salesman that I deal with at this location. He is patient, reasonable, and listens. If you visit, you MUST ask for Randall. He will take good care of you.

Our Sales person, Robert was very knowledgeable and professional regarding our visit. He was not pressuring us to buy anything, but offered helpful details about the bedroom furniture we were considering. We did purchase the bedroom suite and look forward to a return trip for other rooms.
