Rude and won't help unless they can get you in trouble. All I needed was a VIN verification cut and dry. No I need to tow this 30ft RV through town to the station just to have an officer inspect it... My ass. So Colorado residents, our wonderful State Toppers are more than willing to help you with whatever issues your having. That is their duty I was just told. So Thank you Colorado State Troopers and the local police can go eat another donut or keep that thumb up your arse.

I'm a grandparent raising my grandchild. Recently she threw a tantrum and as I was sleeping she wrote a note and took off. I awoke to my worst nightmare.I called the Arvada Police Dept immediately. They were professionals and very quick to help. She is only 11 years old. Lugging her duffle bag she had gotten into a car with a stranger , after all the talks we had about safety throughout her years. The lady had taken her to her house and called the police. The police went to this lady's house and brought her home. I am so thankful for their quick response. And understanding of the situation. So when someone says they don't protect, your wrong. I think about all the terrible outcomes if they weren't there to call. Thank you Arvada Police Dept. You truly are my hero and my granddaughter 's big brother/big sister she needed that evening.- Deena G

The city of Arvada and their cops are nothing but money hungry crooks. Got a stupid ticket for not switching lanes for a stationary emergency vehicle even though there was plenty of room between me and the lane the cop was pulled over in and I was traveling safely (under the speed limit). The lane I apparently should have been is was completely full and I couldn't safely switch lanes so I passed cautiously. I wasn't the only one in the lane but I'm the lucky one that got pulled over. It's a bullshit ticket, just wanted a reason to pull me over. Gave me a citation instead of warning cause they're money hungry crooks. Soon as officer C. Stott #1417 gave me a ticket, he pulled out and stopped another car. Racking in the dough today. I'm so mad!!! Forget all the erratic drivers that are speeding and making unsafe lane changes. Instead these assholes are camping out to give bullshit tickets. A warning would have sufficed but the city is obviously desperate for money

So Angelica, you should not have to obey the law, put there to protect you and them....They should always just hand out warnings. You ignored the law! You get a ticket,,do not blame it on them being money hungry, blame it on you breaking the law, just a thought.
