I have always been impressed with Northglenn's response time to calls. Anytime there is an issue in my neighborhood or near it their response time is minutes (often 3 minutes or less) whether it's an emergency or non-emergency issue. Thank you for all you do! Stay safe!

I'm really not sure why the Northglenn PD exists. They don't do any productive and CONSTANTLY speed up and down Community Center Drive & through other residential neighborhoods without cause. One nerd responded to my car accident and I can only assume he was friends with the driver at fault. He spent the entire time laughing and talking to the offending driver without once asking how my kids or I were. After several minutes he walked over to me and said, "You're lucky the other driver doesn't want me to ticket you, however if you try to pin the accident on him you will be ticketed." Never asked my side or spoke with the 3 witnesses we had. I needed my car towed and he didn't call a tow service like he was supposed to. Instead he told me to call my insurance company and have them deal with it and left after shaking the other guys hand. We reported him for his unprofessional behavior and for his ridiculous, unfounded threats. After reviewing footage of the accident and talking to witnesses, Progressive found the other driver at fault and no ticket was issued after speaking to the disrespectful officers superior. I've also never seen Northglenn PD hold any of the wanna-be thugs accountable for their behavior. I've called for teens smoking pot and drinking at the skate park and they show up, talk to them & leave. I reported a teen shoplifting make-up from Walmart and they simply told her to her return the items and go home. I can't figure out if laziness, a hatred of paperwork, if they're afraid of these brats running around acting like fools or if they think they should just be paid for simply showing up and playing in their cars all day. Whatever it is, this worthless department needs a serious overhaul.

They need to be tougher on teenage party's and drugs. I just watched them let a group of kids disrupt our whole neighborhood in the middle of the night then let these drunk kids get rides home from their parents. Sheeesh maybe a stay at Adams county would get some of these vatos to give respect and pull up their pants. I heard a kid yell "foo!" at least 30 times when addressing a police officer. It looked like a middle school of drunk kids and the cops didn't even flex hard on them. Well now I'm awake with my 4 year old, upset and writing a review. Maybe engage the teens more, actively and retroactively. This is all coming from a parent of a 14 year old. I would want a cop to drop my kid if he disrespected authority like that. Anyway I've seen taco bell managers who control teens better. It almost looked like they where intimidated by a group of 14 year olds.

The Northglenn Police Department went to my daughter's elementary school today and shared info about consequences of drinking and smoking, drug use, etc.. I have never lived in an area where the police were so involoved in GREAT ways to help our children's futures. Thank you Northglenn PD!! You are out heros! Sincerely the Todd family:(
