The officers I've met have been very courteous, but the issue is in getting in touch with anyone by phone. The city on my address apparently doesn't match the department who has jurisdiction in my area, which means multiple transfers, then being finally connected to a representative who is a bit rude and then says they'll call me back but won't say when. Jurisdiction lines need to be more clear for residents, and phone representatives need to be more helpful.

When I called for a non-emergent situation (my driveway was blocked by a neighbor's vehicle for the umpteenth time, I was OVER it), I received a callback from an officer, who said he was at the 'far other end of town', and it would be awhile. 4 hours later, it's their change of shift, no one has shown up. I sure didn't expect NO ONE would show up, EVER. Lousy response, lousy excuse. (Do they only have ONE officer on duty for blocked driveways?) The sad part is, once I was able to get out, I found Westminster police vehicles driving around, no lights, no sirens, no emergencies. Just toolin' around. THANKS FOR NOTHING.

This is the most corrupt police force run by psychopaths. I was harassed and assaulted by a security guard, who has friends in the force. I filed a police report and nothing came of it. They said I was I was lying and made it up despite it being caught on tape and having witnesses. Nice to know I can't call anyone when I'm in serious danger.

I was involved in an accident on October 22, 2016 at the intersection of Sheridan Blvd./105th Ave. The traffic lights were not functioning, showing flashing lights, and drivers going north/south and east were taking turns. When it was my turn (I was thinking) I proceeded to make a left turn and was hit by a car traveling north on Sheridan. I had not seen the driver coming. The attending police officer, K Souster Badge Number 1601, was very accommodating and kind. She stated that this had been an extreme confusing scenario. When the formalities were completed, my grandson had arrived to pick me up. He was parked at the Rec. Center. Officer Souster did not let us go across saying that this was just too dangerous. Instead, she invited my grandson into her car and drove him to his parked car. While the accident had been upsetting, I couldn't help but feel grateful and comforted by a caring officer. Thank you, Officer Souster.
