It's rare in this day and age that malls prosper as much as this mall still is. Way more enjoyable than the new outlets even in my opinion. The only decent store is forever 21 and it doesn't have much of anything for men. Everything else is for middle aged women who own a 700k+ home in the nearby Biltmore Lake I'm assuming? Oh and a Bass Pro Type of shop for those types? Anyways Asheville mall is still pretty cool and the h&m isn't a flagship store yet it should be as it is why I often still frequently visit this mall.

There is a lot more to this place then meets the eye. The layout is very different then most shopping centers. Things are spread out but this Mall is VERY Clean and I love that about this location. The offer a lot to the customers but with it being so spread out you may not realize it. Parking is parking, it’s not great here with the traffic flow and not really sure that’s something that can be fixed in this area.

The Asheville Mall has always been known for 1 thing. They allow rowdy, loud, obnoxious teenagers run around in packs. They start fights with everyone , curse loudly and if you ask them to watch their language..... You may as well have smacked them in the mouth. They'll scream at you and curse you out. They have absolutely NO respect for others. Especially children in the mall that are taught respect and manners. I mean how sad is it that my 3 year old daughter, my 6 year old son, 12 year old son & 14 year old daughter had to hear 4 guys that were all a part of a group of 20 unsupervised preteens and teens, telling me to suck their 'D's' A mother should be able to take her kids to old navy without worrying about 'those kids'.... it's been like that since I was a kid. I hated going to the mall, because there were always groups trying to get you to fight them. It's terrible!!!! If anyone that actually has anything to do with The Asheville Mall is reading this.. You guys have lost, and will continue to lose patrons if you don't start making parents accompany their kids. Granted, sometimes the parents act just like them, or worse. But at least there's someone that can be held accountable.... that's all....

I always go to JC Penney for good sales and downstairs is hundreds of clearance clothes, bags, and shoes. I bought two mattress sets at Sears. Borders Books is huge. Belk is there and across the street is the largest Whole Foods Market. They have a huge hot and cold food bar to eat-in. They have a excellent food court at the Asheville Mall with Chinese food, Sushi Japan, so many restaurants and the great McCallister's deli. Sears is closing this year. Sears will have a liquidation sale in July 2018. The Asheville Mall is going to have a 48 million dollar redevelopment. It was approved and in the paper (The Asheville Citizen Times, April 2018).
