We have really enjoyed staying here. We have great neighbors. It's a very peaceful place where the scenery never ceases to amaze me. The wildlife is wonderful and fun to watch. The kids have a great time out here. Most everyone out here has been very respectful of the speed limit since there is kids playing and the wildlife. We have traveled across the United States for my husband's job and this place is by far my favorite place to stay.

Owners very accommodating.  But no bathrooms, weak wifi, no cable and very tight spaces make this an ok overnight but not longer.

Nice friendly people a real nice Lake to fish in if a person wanting to fish we just stopped for one night but enjoyed the stay

We had a great experience at Askew's Landing while traveling through the state in November.

he park is very nice, quiet, and beautiful. Our site was right on the lake and we enjoyed incredible bird activity and privacy in the morning at sunrise.
The owners were very nice and accommodating. We already plan to make this park a regular stop in our travels east and west!
We recommend Askew's Landing Campground to everyone looking for a clean well managed RV park.

The scenery is the only thing going for this place! I was here 2 months and couldn't leave fast enough, the people here are rude, obnoxious and there is a sense of a clique if you're not part of it be prepared to be constantly said something to because of this or Bc of that line I'm the only one with dogs and god forbid you do 11 up the driveway Bc there is a "girl" that sits at the store there that instead of asking how fast your going or comes later to speak on it screams to the top of her lungs slow down slow down , sorry my one mile an hour over is the end of your day, not to mention the snootiness that comes with your words like your speaking to someone illiterate! Grow up girl. And another camper cussed my husband for dying clothes (not fast enough) but you come back with everybody has a bad day shoe on the other foot it wouldn't fly we would have gotten the you can't do that lecture or another 5$ tagged on to rent, rent covers 4 people but yet your charged when anyone shows up to visit for 5 minutes or over night. Then even I'm nice enough to inform her I had guests Bc I didn't know they were coming until they got there I was told rudely y'all need to start letting us know when you're gonna have guests show I'll tap into my psychic abilities for that,. Campers beware this is not the place to go, I wouldn't even bring my kids on the account that if something were said in front of them I would have snapped! Oh and I appreciate the ride your old man gave me to the store and I thanked him but he didn't have to wrinkle his nose very noticeable make it known he didn't wanna give me a ride, I even offered gas money. Then out of 300$ for monthly I was there a week, and I got back 120$ DO NOT GO HERE!!
