The best weight equipment I found in Des Moines, steam room and dry sauna.   Clean but a little disorganized and members are terrible about racking weights and stripping equipment.  I wish the hours of operation were a greatly expanded especially Friday, Saturday & Sunday.  The club should be open till at least midnight every day but 24 hours would be great.  Hours are designed for someone that works M-F 9 to 5 and that's just not realistic anymore.

Great place...staff always professional, large variety of equipment, plenty of cardio machines, tanning beds, basketball court, fitess/yoga classes PLUS,  sauna and steam room

I've never been in a more dirty gym. Most of the equipment has been damaged for years, or it's just old and untrustworthy.

The Barbbells are ALL old, with horrible knurling (grip). One of them is even bent, and has been bent for a while. There's is only ONE power rack, meaning if someone wants tod earlier while someone else is using it, the entire gym is filled with the sound of weights hitting the ground... they need to update their equipment (even if it's slowly) this gym is WAY to busy to be neglected like this - Where is the money going? Everyone pays extra money a year for "maintenance" and I couldn't even GUESS where they money goes.

Plenty of cardio machines, but the weights can get very crowded at peak hours.

They need to remove the picture of the pool because the pool has been closed indefinitely.

Edit: need to re-open the pool tbh
