I've only been to Aspen Dental twice, and already know I'd recommend them to other people.  They are extremely personable, and made me feel like they actually care about the welfare of my mouth.  The office managers Jennifer and Joe, have been extremely helpful, and I can't remember the dental assistants name, but she was freaking great.  She was honest and up front and stayed with me almost the entire time, answering every question I had.  I can't wait to see my new smile.

I'd been having trouble with a molar on my right side, and I'd seen 2 dentists over 2 years. The first one was supposed to fill a regular cavity with porcelain filling, but he didn't fill it right and so the cavity continued to worsen. I moved to IL, and saw someone at creative smiles as an emergency because my tooth pain got worse. Big mistake! They were rude, unprofessional, and they didn't listen to me when I tried to explain what was wrong. They said all I needed was another filling (a mistake) and that made my pain even worse. 

I went back to creative smiles a few weeks later and they said they couldn't tell if it was something more serious (like a root canal) and they sent me home after refusing to take my X-rays and drilling on my tooth without explaining why. 

I should've gone to Aspen Dental in the first place. They were extremely caring, they listened to me recount this long story, and they did a full X-ray of all my teeth and helped me with diagnosing the problem. Turns out I needed a root canal (after all!) because my tooth was essentially dead, and they performed a pulpotomy to lessen the pain. Now my tooth is sore, but nowhere near the excruciating pain before. They also gave me a full detail of what it would cost with insurance and were patient whenever I had questions. 100% would recommend this place. They are SUPER NICE and they do great work at a relatively affordable rate. Thank goodness someone in this town does!

I went to aspen dental a few weeks ago to get my last wisdom tooth pulled. And let me start with the girl who took my X-rays. She took more time trying to put on gloves that fit her than she did taking my X-rays. The dental hygienist was great she told me the plan to get my teeth back in shape and I was eager to start. The lady dentist was really nice as well. I was looking forward to working with both of them. I then talk to the “office manager”. He was eager to get me the heck out of the office. I was hoping for that day to get it pulled but no he said they were closed at 1pm. Ok fine. I set up an appointment and they called me and said they had to cancel due to the male dentist being stuck on a flight. Ok I was upset but fine. I went in and they refused to charge my care credit for $161 because I didn’t have $200 on the card? I had $191. I was aggravated so I saved money and called to reschedule. I got another date set and they called me back to tell the the dentist, remember the one who was stuck on a flight? Was going to be gone for a MONTH on vacation! And they couldn’t give me antything for pain because he’s out of the office! I’m done with this place. I’m sure other Aspens aren’t like this. But my experience has been awful. I did give it two stars because the one dentist I talked to was great as well as the dental hygienist.

Dr. Phillips and Hygienist Danielle were great! They made me feel very comfortable and took care of me. Proper explanation of what was going to happen and what to expect is very important to make me feel comfortable and they went above and beyond. Thanks!
