My wife who has dementia recently was hospitalized at this facility. She has become so difficult to care for at home and recently has put us both in many unsafe situations. She has seen her doctor several times in the past few months and she sees a psychiatrist, but neither seemed to be helping her worsening behavior. A coworker told me about this facility and I decided to give them a call. I called on a Saturday night and a nurse came out to visit my wife and I at home about an hour later. My wife ended up going to this facility that same night and stayed for 11 days. I visited her every day and she did a lot of fun activities that she enjoyed a lot while she was there. We have started doing a lot of those same activities at home. She also got her medicines adjusted - going from 16 medicines to 8. She is much easier for me to care for at home and seems a lot less anxious than before. I am thankful to Assurance for giving me back my wife again. I want to keep her at home with me as long as I am able and with the help of Assurance, I feel more confident in doing so.

My mother was at this location recently. At first my family was resistant about the idea of mom going to a psychiatric hospital, but the staff made the whole process as easy and answered all of our questions. A nurse even came to mom's house to meet with her and talk with the rest of us. Me or my brother visited our mother daily while she was in this facility, and we were impressed with the cleanliness, staff, and all the activities they have available for the patients. Mom is like a new person since she has been back home. We are so glad we found this place and would recommend it to anyone going through a tough time.

This place is horrible. I would really think twice about putting a loved one in this hole. They lie to you and make you think that you are doing the best for your loved one when in fact it will be the worse mistake of your and there life. When my mother went in she she was in better shape than when I took her out. She can no longer walk or hold her own weight to stand. I'm not sure what they give the patients there but they stay out of it almost a drunken state. I would not even give this place one star. When one of the staff found out that I was taken my mother out she looked at me and said run don't bring her back you know something is wrong. This place needs to be closed.

My sister has been in a few psych units over the years and I must say this one is THE BEST! The only thing that could have made our experience better was if they could have opened this hospital years ago!! From someone who has spent a lot of time dealing with places like this -- they are doing it RIGHT! THANK YOU!!

My husband and I were so fortunate to have found this hospital. My husband's dementia has gotten very bad and he became a person I did not know. The nurse at his assisted living recommended Assurance to help. Valerie, Andy and everyone else were caring, patient and kind to us. I wish I could remember more of their names. Keep up the great work you are doing. We will be forever thankful!!!
