It's a fun store. But I'm always stressed out when I go in there. Sometimes have to wait at the Lexington door

I went to the AT&T store in Lexington,SC Friday October 6th, 2017 around 4:30 p.m. to upgrade my wife's iPhone. When I entered the building I held the door for Two Gentlemen to go in before me. An employee ask for our ""Name and Phone Number"" to put us on the waiting list. There were four employees helping other customers, a manager and assistant manager sitting at a table by themself. The three of us waited patiently and wondering why the managers could not help us with our simple matters as well. The two other gentlemen got tired of waiting and walked out the store while I proceed to wait my turn in line, after 45 minutes still wondering why a manager or assistant manager would not help me. I finally asked the store manager why they could not help me with my situation and his reply was that the manager and assistant manager were there to assist the employees assisting other customers. I simply asked him if there was a way to upgrade my wife's phone online and his reply was yes. My next question was is there a survey that I could take online as well too rate my service experience at the Lexington, SC store that day and his reply was I bet you could find that too. As soon as I got to my truck I went to dial 611 corporate AT&T to tell them about my experience and find out how to upgrade my wife's phone online. My phone has been cut off. The phone simply said emergency calls only. After a few minutes in my truck I went back into the store to tell them about my phone service being cut off and the managers reply was I will put you back on the waiting list because one other person is in front of you now. I stepped outside and had my wife's phone in my pocket and dialed 611 and told them what had happened in the store and that I had no service anymore. They looked at the activities on my phone and determine an employee in the Lexington store where I gave them my ""Name and Number"" for the waiting list cancelled my phone line at 5:33 p.m. eastern time. The AT&T corporate representative that I was talking to kindly restored my service back on my phone. I will never do business in that Lexington location again . I'm a business account owner with 5 phone lines. My message for future Customers: Beware!!! When you give the employees your ""Name and Number"" and your visit isn't a pleasant experience, you might not want to voice your opinion for the risk of having your phone service cancelled by an employee of AT&T Lexington South Carolina. My 611 phone experience directly to AT&T corporate Representatives is the only way I get things done anymore. They are the utmost professional and knowledgeable employees that know every plan and can help remedy any problems effortlessly. The in-store employees at the Lexington South Carolina location need more education on their AT&T plans and products that they're trying to sell the customer.

So here’s the deal, this store sucks. I spent 12 hours in the store over the span of 3 days to upgrade 3 phones due to errors in the system and staff just not really knowing what to do. After spending nine-hundred dollars in any store you’d expect some sense of urgency but no. But the whole reason why I’m giving this garbage store 2 stars is due to the sales rep. Josh. He sat with us past closing making several calls and worked hard to try get us something for our time (like cases or something for our new iPhones) but the manager repeatedly said no. He was an exceptional employee and probably the only reason we are still with at&t. You will sit forever but if you’re going to wait ask for Josh it’s the only way anything will get done. Don’t expect management to acknowledge your existence.

We were very excited about our new family plan. 4 days later we had problems with2 screen protectors and 2 cases, manager Jason advised there were 5 people in front of us when we returned to store, we advised we didn't mind waiting, manager Jason said there was nothing he could do in store and would not let us sign in. At&t policy is 15 day return on phones and 30 on extras like covers, manager Jason abandoned us after sale, and intentionally gave false information. This could have been resolved in store, but worse than that, as he asked me to leave and take it up with the manufacturer, he reached out and touched my forearm. I'm a nurse and paramedic and we have to have consent to touch a person. It was inappropriate and unprofessional and maybe technically an assault. I immediately advised him he does not have permission to touch me and not do it again. Manager laughed. Reported to store manager and customer service with zero follow up from anyone. Like phones and coverage. Assaulted by manager. Now you know.
