Super helpful, and knowledgeable. Note they are not a corporate store, so they offer limited services for corporate accounts. But for personal/residential accts they are great to work with. Manager (Sara) was exceptionally helpful.

I don't normally write reviews, but this was the worst experience that I have ever had in an ATT store in 15 years.

I had been working with ATT online technical support and ATT customer service to resolve an issue with my phone, (searching for signal continuously). 

It was determined that I needed to physically take my phone to an ATT store for further assistance. I had been advised that if they weren't able to solve the issue, that I was eligible for an upgrade.

I chose the Champlin location because it is within two miles of my home.
I explained my situation to the first person that greeted me. He informed me that he didn't know if he could  help because he had only worked there for six weeks and didn't know much about phones!?  He attempted  to do a couple of things on my phone but ended up getting a second person to help me. I explained my issue to her and also explained all of the steps that the technical assistance people had walked me through. She basically repeated all of those steps unsuccessfully and informed me that my phone appeared to be bent and that was why is wasn't working, (conjecture on her part). I could either pay an insurance deductible and wait two days for a new phone to be sent to my house or buy a new phone. I told her that I had been advised by the people in customer service that I could pay the upgrade and get a new phone. She informed me that since my phone appeared to be damaged it would not qualify for the upgrade. When I argued this point she called her manager for a second opinion, but stated as fact that my phone was bent. He told her that she could not do the do the upgrade.

I left there and went to the Coon Rapids location where I was greeted with an enthusiastic smile. I explained the situation to the young lady that was helping me. She took my phone, removed the SIM card and plugged the SIM card from her phone into mine. My phone worked fine with her SIM card. I purchased a new SIM card for $5 and was on my way with a functional phone in about 10 minutes.

As a customer service professional I can tell you the reason for the difference between my two experiences: The young lady at the Coon Rapids store was focused on helping me solve my issue in the friendliest and most customer focused way possible, the staff in the Champlin  location were not.

Very helpful and knowledgeable! Went in a couple weeks ago to get a new phone and with one employee working she helped 5 people at once and was very efficient!!

Open til 7 pm, doors closed at 6:20??? Looks like at&t does not want to accommodate their customers
