Our collaboration with Audio Connection has not been too good, to say the least…considering it's been over 90 days since the Audio Connection technician was at our home; i.e., September 11, 2014, to be accurate, at which time he installed a Control4 "power supply" that was supposed to correct the ongoing problems we had experienced with our televisions not working on Control4 System. As important as it was in arriving at our decision to have AC install the Control4 equipment we purchased for about $12,000.00 last year was the promise Greg Bergman made to my wife and me in our kitchen that if anything went wrong with the system, "we will respond within one day". Well, the last time we saw or heard from anyone at AC was September 11, 2014 when the company's technician responded to our service request to replace the Control4 power supply due to our not being able to use the remotes in specific rooms, which cost us $385.00 for the part and labor. During the same service call, the tech could not repair one of the televisions; however, he assured us that he would bring "the equipment needed" to troubleshoot that tv on his follow-up service visit…a service visit that never materialized! It has been over 90 days and we still have not heard or seen an AC rep. My wife and I agree that this company's service stinks beyond words. Before making our decision to have Greg Bergman and AC do the upgrades we needed to a Control4 system about which we knew absolutely nothing, we asked a lot of questions about his company's service department; e.g., response time, tech expertise, service costs. His answer to every concern we had was the same old thing consumers are used to hearing…but we truly believed him. That has turned out to be the biggest mistake we've made. By the way, we're still waiting for someone from Audio Connection to get in touch with us about that second service visit over 90 days later…and still counting! We feel duped by this company, its vice president, its techs, and AC and its 'techmeister' who tried to pawn off a "reconditioned" outdoor television on us instead of the new unit we had paid for upfront, but that's another story for another time.Therefore, we could never recommend this company to anyone based on its dismal performance record with our Control4 system. "Over 90 days later, we are still in limbo with televisions that still do not function properly." Can you imagine any company operating like this with a customer who paid them a lot of hard-earned money to work on a system we admit we know nothing about and, then, turn their backs on a customer this way. For these reasons, and more not discussed, we could never recommend Audio Connection to anyone!
