Austintown PD was AWESOME on Sunday, 10/1. My group held a benefit ride for the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley. When I called to set-up right-of-way at the intersections on Mahoning Avenue, you guys were there and on it!! Very impressive! Even though only 10 bikes showed up and a convertible, you were still there and helped us get to our final destination on time. Thank you so much and God bless!!

They responded promptly and addressed the situation amicably. I am however disturbed by the officer's demeanor when I failed to disclose I was a CC Permit and had my firearm in the car. I do understand it is my duty to inform the officer in this situation, and I take full responsibility for my oversight. It was not intentional, I normally do so. I also greatly appreciate that he gave me a break and did not cite me. However, there was no need to get pissed and chastise me like he did, especially after owning my error and apologizing for it. I'd almost rather get arrested than deal with that.

The police responded quickly to my call and the dispatcher was phenomal. His name was Zack and he helped immensely. When police arrived and check everything out they were very comforting and checked out everything very well.

A police officer can laugh at you when some one cusses at you. But don't point to your butt . He will reproman you for making a bad motion He yells n threatens you to go to jail over a house ,when he was there for domestic violance,Some one needs to know we have feelings n I lost a respect for Austintown police officer Franks.

Apparently one of the employees of this department has a particularly racist son who goes around harassing pregnant women. Not to mention they've arrested people for no crime at all. If there was a negative star rating, this place would certainly get it. ACAB.
