The Autumn Cafe has been a wonderful restaurant in downtown Oneonta for many years. My question now is does anyone know if and when it might reopen. The renovations have taken so long, that one definitely begins to wonder??? Any thoughts out there would be greatly appreciated and you can certainly post them as part of a review.

Was always one of my favorite restaurants in Oneonta. Heard they're currently closed for renovations, hopefully they'll re-open by the next time I'm in the area!

The Autumn is great. We always have a good meal here. They get local meat and produce and change things up with nightly specials. Everything is always delicious. The wait staff is friendly and service is excellent. Plus they have a decent beer selection with lots of local brews.

Inside decor is more old bar with wood takes and large bar. Nice patio with decent views. Service was good. Menu is odd. A selection of hard core health items, burgers (fish, tofu, meat), lots of sandwiches. They were out of meat burgers when we visited... I found that odd. We shared a selection of items that included stuffed eggplant, fish cakes, potato soup, fajitas, and vegetables. The food was very bland and below average. Good for a drink on the patio. Okay if you are in the area and don't care much about food quality of opt for their healthy options. I doubt I'll be back for the food.
