We love Sloan's! The onion soup is an excellent way to start and a favorite meal is the smokehouse sampler. One of these day I'm going to try the astonishing Tomahawk Steak. The only thing I've been disappointed by is their desserts. Ambience is good and waitstaff consistently excellent

Place had exceptional service. The wait was a little long, but we came right at rush hour so it was to be expected. The beer that we got (a hibiscus ginger beer) was really good. However, the food was not very good. They had amazing sauce flavors, but the smoked meat platter that we got just didn't match up to my expectations. It was a bit dry, and not anywhere near the level of bbq that I had grown accustomed to during my time in the South. However, the prices weren't bad, and we were allowed to carry our unfinished bottle of beer out with us so they get 4 stars.

Gave 1 star because I could not give zero. Did not have reservations. So we had to wait 45 mins. No chairs to wait. Food was cold. What little came on the plate. Along with another 45 min wait for food. Never refilled our drinks while waiting. Wasted my time.

Excellent service. Chicken wings were very good, hot rolls and seasoned butter was excellent, the side salads were fresh and tasty. Rib eye steak was tougher than it should be.
