Here at Ava Marie our focus is you. We have a creative team of individuals, hair care professionals, and estheticians, each with their own unique skills and talents . We are the premiere full service hair salon and spa in Virginia Beach. From the moment you are greeted, our salon and spa's clean elegant decor, yet cozy and warm, contains separate areas for our hair care services, shampoo area, private esthetician room, a charging station with free Wifi for any personal work, retail area with an array of hair and skin care products for purchase or direct ship to you. We even have a specialty menu for a quick gourmet coffee or bite to eat. Ava Marie Salon and Spa provides you, the client, with the ultimate in salon and spa services.

I went into the salon really damaged dried-out hair and I got a color and a cut and a Brazilian blowout and my hair is fabulous now. It's soft and silky and I love my cut. I highly recommend this salon when I got home I called him and told them that I love them very much and they are my heroes!

Finally found my salon home! I initially called and spoke to Amanda who was very friendly and accommodating. She willingly found a stylist who could take me in on a busy Saturday while other salons I spoke to immediately turned me away. When I arrived, I was offered cucumber water and it made me realize that I've been drinking water the wrong way my entire life. MADDIE! You are the best! Her personality is amazing and she really takes pride in her work. You can tell she's having fun and is genuinely excited to see how your hair turns out. Adam, the owner, was super involved and routinely checked on how we were doing. The prices are great and you get better quality service so it's a win for broke girls like me. I will gladly make the drive from Portsmouth, even if it's just to get some cucumber water. Thank you guys! I'll be back 😁

I HIGHLY recommend seeing ADAM at this salon. He is attentive, friendly, professional and very skilled at what he does. He has a true passion for his salon and he values each person who comes through the Ava Marie front door. I was blown away by his desire to make sure I got my hair done exactly how I had envisioned. I appreciate him also caring for the integrity of my hair too. In addition, the atmosphere of this salon is super relaxing, they offer you cucumber water upon arrival, the decor is modern with a stunning red chandelier in the center of the room and the shampoo room is separate and serene—it felt like a spa experience and a treat for myself to be there.

I have been a loyal client of Adam's for almost a decade. Can't imagine trusting my color to anyone else. So happy he has opened his very own salon here in Virginia Beach! Everyone is the salon and spa is amazing - which is a testament to Adam and them too!  Maddie Baine has given me amazingly fun playful colors and cuts. Ariana is exceptional at Hot Head Extensions! The front of the house crew; Lisa, Amanda and Cannon are gracious and accommodating. I couldn't do it without my village!!!

11/10. Recommend. Adam did an AMAZING job on my hair and could not be more happy with the results . Had a wonderful time here and definitely plan on going back. Thank you so much! Beautiful salon!
