Story

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Medicine all started from natural, organic products in their pure form. It is the spas vision to return our bodies to its original state of health through massage, esthetics and organic treatments. You will not find any other spas in Virginia Beach that offers 100% green products! Organic products help to establish the bodies natural state and combat the barrage of toxins we are exposed to every day. All products at the spa are organic, natural and free of harmful chemicals.
Elite Therapy and Wellness Center and it's knowledgeable staff are all nationally certified as well as state certified. Several of the staff members are instructors and hold college degrees. We actively educate and help to correct harmful habits that may cause injury or increased stress to our clients. Our number one priority is to send our clients on their way to health, vitality and living a stress free life.

Beautiful, Elegant, Clean, Experienced Therapists, Various services and Packages to choose from. All organic products. Friendly employees, relaxing atmosphere. Best massage I've ever had!

This is not your typical massage establishment. They don't run you in, go by the numbers, here's some water and goodbye. They have only a few therapists but they are all exactly that. They actually pay attention to your issue and will isolate and work on it as needed.  Not only did this excellent therapist work on a major issue- she actually helped to correct the issue. After 24 hours I'm not sore in any of the areas she worked and I'm actually able to move more freely. This is what I call a true massage therapist. 

What a welcoming change for the better. If you are looking to switch then give this place a shot.

Came in with a Groupon that included gelish pedicure and 60 minute Swedish massage. I added 30 minutes of reflexology. It was my first time visiting. It was a cute shop. Pedicure came out beautiful. Utensils were sanitized and clean. The person doing it really took her time. (Not sure of her name because neither of the ladies that gave me service introduced themselves by name). They were polite though. 

The 60 minute sugar massage with reflexology was not the best I've had. There was way more sugar scrubbing than muscle massaging. I know that the sugar requires gloved hands. But a massage with gloved hands is an awkward experience. I would suggest the full sugar scrub first and then taking off the gloves for the massage. Afterwards, I felt relaxed but not the floating sensation that I I've received after shorter massages.

The overall experience was okay. I'd definitely go back for nail service. I wouldn't for massage but every therapist isn't going to be the right fit. I think the sugar massage would be a good starter massage for a beginner.

To start on a positive note, Genn (owner and therapist) is great. She is wonderful at her job, however her second job takes her away from her therapy business often. I have two complaints for Elite which will keep me from going here in the future, 1. Their online booking is extremely unreliable. I booked an appointment with another therapist because Genn was out of town. I was able to book the first available appointment offered which was still 3 days later. I had been experiencing a lot of pain that made it difficult to sleep through the night, so needless to say I was really looking forward to this massage. Their receptionist informed me that I was not booked in their system and they were aware that they were having problems with their online booking system recently. They had nothing available at that moment. My 2nd complaint is their receptionist. She's extremely rude and snotty! She placed the blame on me that I didn't confirm the appointment. I got no apology and she didn't even offer to re-book me. I had no choice but to leave because she made it apparent that she couldn't/wouldn't help at all and the conversation was over. I would not recommend Elite to anyone, unless they seriously improve their booking system and their receptionist is either fired or gets an attitude adjustment.
