Nice family campground. Note: sites are very close together. Didn't enjoy as much as possible because it poured, but otherwise there are lots of activities there.

Camped from June 22 til 25th in tent site. Bath houses were clean staff was friendly. Would definitely go go back,but for a longer stay. Campsite had kids running and biking but everyone was courteous.  Was actually pretty quiet after 700 pm. Except for the smaller kids. Didn't bother me one bit. I actually enjoyed hearing and seeing them having so much fun. Can't wait to go again even though the drive there was 2 1/2 hrs.

Been to this location at least 6 times over the past few years. Never had any major or minor issues till my last night on 10/12/17.  I am sitting no less than 8 feet from the fire pit with all the wood contained inside the fire ring.  I am a Eagle Scout and know how to watch a fire.  A guy out of know where comes up to me asking me to make sure I wAtch out for the fire.  ( I was sitting watching the fire as stated above).  Told the guy I know how to watch a fire. In a Bragging tone he says he is the owner of the campground and starts to walk away.  I guess my issue is—. What was the reason to come up to me?   If I was not sitting in front of the fire, yes. Say something.  But no reason to be bothered and  Interrupt my evening that I paid for at the campground.  I rented a 1 room cabin for 3 nights. The beds are very uncomfortable, a little better than sleeping on a rock and the air conditioning in the cabin did not work.   I doubt I will return.  Reported what happened the next morning to the manager (?) with a response of little care.

I had the best time here. The staff and other workers here were so friendly and nice. I just didn't get to go in the pool cause of weather but I will be back and go in. I love the store as well. I'm letting family and friends know about Avalon. Thank you for your kindness!

Great place with nice comfortable cabins.  The open space for sports is great.  The kids loved this place.  They were all over the play ground.  Although it was cold we jumped in the pool and had a great time there.  Only 20 minutes from wild wood as well so you can take a quick ride to the beach if you want.  We will be back.
