We have booked Beachcomber a few times. So far of all the places we have stayed at in New Jersey Beachcomber is by far our favorite. Excellent beach, fun things to do, Clean bathrooms, great camp store, and close to all the shore points. The staff is great too! Love this place

Been coming here for over ten years. It's not bad but it's not the greatest. One thing that should be done is the roads. To much dust fills every site, and camper and cars with the dust from roads. No matter how slow or fast you go. Not good to have the people breath or eat outside due to the dust. Paving them or something aside from gravel would be awesome. Staff shows signs of being stressed every time we come here. One thing I can't stress this enough, when we make reservations and ask for a certain site ahead of time. There shouldn't be any issues for when we arrive unless otherwise already occupied but by someone who's made reservations for that site prior to us. Otherwise a few new things added on since last year that we came and years prior. Some staff just need to be a bit more welcoming and friendly especially again as everyone's mentioned the people at the entrance. The first impression is the most important especially if they will be the first representatives of the camp ground.

I understand that my niece had a problem with them: Last week she had to cancel her husband's reservation at Beachcomber Campground in Wildwood Beach because, as a trained Forest Fighter, he was sent out to Montana to fight fires. They refused to refund any of the deposit. Just wanted to put that out there. Thank you Beachcomber for showing how much you support and care about our firefighters that spend thousands there during the convention. They should get a ZERO but I have to check one star to make it work

I rarely leave a review but this campground was a terrible experience. It has such great amenities like a beach, floating bounce trampoline on the water, inflatable water slide, rentable golf carts, showers, cable, etc.BUT, here is the negative. The floating bounce trampoline and inflatable water slide has a limit of 3 people at a time, causing kids to wait and if its very busy a kid may be on it for 1 minute in the 5-10 minute allotted window where you have to get in a line and wait for the next group of kids to finish. BUT, this is not the bad part. What was the WORST experience in the number of people who either work or do not work for the camp resort thinking they are bosses. My brother who is 27 years old was "pulled over" by an (employee?) on his golf cart stating that anybody who was under 18 is not aloud to drive. This became very annoying because of they number of times older people were pulling him over. No, he was not speeding, nor carrying on like people would assume. He just looks young. Through-out the campground the number of "old folks" (55 and higher) would vigorously patrol the campground verbally citing any issues. weather it was running, age of person driving a gold cart, rented golf carts having too much weight on it, driving too fast, fire being too large, water running too long, etc etc. You spend a lot of money for a vacation like this and you do not want to be "pulled over" for every breath you take. and one time during the pull over process the older gentlemen stated "You know, we are trying to have a fun and safe environment here and having a child drive a golf cart is making it not fun and dangerous" REMINDER: he is 27 years old!!! Overall, the amenities are nice but I would never stay here again strictly due to the people who look for trouble by confronting people. If you have kids I would stay away as the older people really provide a negative experience. Owner or Director of Beachcomber feel free to reach out to me as I expressed this concern to you once but I do not believe this will be corrected until you correct the people who are walking around your campground negative, sour and looking for trouble in a dumb way. Thank you!

This place is TERRIBLE! save your money and aggravation and stay away. There's nothing to do for kids and the place is filthy. There is no good internet as well. Also the staff and security are very rude.
