Great neighborhood bar, not too loud and people in general are friendly. Anything we've ordered to eat has been pretty good. If there's one thing I'd like to see (hear) is music that is geared to the (older) crowd that frequents this place, i.e. blues, rock

DO NOT EAT HERE! Bugs everywhere in the dining room. They are the worst. I've never once received my food the way we've ordered it. I spoke with Fred, who said he was the owner. I explained to the most uncouth person ever, that Ale House has consistently made EVERY single order incorrect and has also made us wait at least 30 minutes longer than they've told us. Over an hour! Constistently. And for subpar food.  In the most abrasive, aloof, disrespecful tone he responds, "What do you want me to do?" Beyond trashy and unprofessional. I will go out of my way to make sure no one I know eats here. Unacceptable!

Great environment, good food and live music on weekends but call ahead to make sure about the line up. Huge bar and great service.

I have gone here 2 times in the last year and each time has gotten worse. First service was terrible second and third time the food was terrible. I ordered the gumbo, added shrimp for $6! Effectively this doubled the price of the "meal". $90 for wings special beers and gumbo for 2! Never again!
