It took me a while to try this place out because I was so sad about losing the original avenue, but food fight is a force too big to not eventually give in to...that and we needed a table at 6 on a Saturday without a reservation so our options were limited. The atmosphere is nice, and the food was good. The cheese curds and homemade chips were awesome, as was the meatloaf, tenderloin, and fish. The service was friendly but the timing was all off. She brought our soups and salads right after delivering the cheese curds, and very shortly thereafter brought dinner, and all before serving our bottle of wine which did not arrive to the table until after dinner was served. Next time, i will have to pace the meal by refusing to order apps until the wine is delivered, and refusing to order the meal until im done with the appetizers. This restaurant has a kids menu, but nothing special on it. There should be a small 3oz steak item on the kids menu, similar to Buck n Honeys, but there is not.

This remodel at the Avenue is great. Cozy but modern space. The bar area is a nice place to watch a game. Dining area is bright and open. Food is great, and the happy hour is really good. They also have a good kids menu and our servers have always been really friendly.

We were amazed at the remodeling. We hadn't been to the Avenue in years. It was always nice, but now it's great! Loved the decor and theme. It felt like we stepped into the set of Mad Men. The drinks were perfect and our server was very attentive and fun. I had the fish fry, which was delicious. We are looking forward to going back!

The apps are always good. The steaks are good. Cowboy burger tasted like a tomatoey meatloaf. Fries tasted and looked like they sat in cold grease for to long.

Very fun spot. Great drinks. Food needs improving. But you'll enjoy happy hour.
