Their hours are really weird, but their food is good. A little expensive for what you get. They brought me a lamb shank that was raw, but brought me another dish as a replacement that was quite good. Their menu is fairly limited and they barely have any drink options.

As much as I really do support the vision behind this place, and all the great potential of it, I must say that I have been continually dissapointed with the food's quality.  Granted I have only been on weekday's for lunch, whence it seems the food is of leftover/reheated quality.  It seems some quality control and detail to freshness on days of little customers is in order, I know a tricky balance in order to not have waste.  Perhaps I'll try again some weekend.  Also, I have never seen the proprietor there, as all other reviews claim.

Such a warm and welcoming spot! Layla had a big, bright smile on her face the whole time.

I ordered the Persian rice bowl with lentil soup. First, the meal was super filling! My only complaint about the meal is that my rice bowl was way salty and I ended up drinking the whole bottle of water at my table. She did give me extra yogurt sauce when I asked, which helped.

I'm hoping to come back soon to try something else, hopefully that fits me better!

I couldn't recommend this restaurant more. Having grown up eating (and cooking) Persian food I was extremely satisfied! Layla is a sweetheart and was very accommodating to my friend and me. Very much looking forward to eating here again soon!

Good food for a good cause. Hours of operation are hard to predict.
