Needed my rear hub tightened back up, came in and they got it done asap. Good price! Definitely recommend.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. HUGO IS BY FAR THE WORST PERSON I'VE DEALT WITH WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND TELL EVERY BIKING FRIEND I KNOW TO DO THE SAME.

Came in on a Saturday and had to wait until 10:03am until the store opened. Not a big deal, I just have stuff to get done. However, 3 minutes isn't going to kill me. The guy (who I called back to get his name which is Hugo) rode his bike and opens the door and let's me and one other in. 

As Hugo's "setting up" (which means taking off his gear) he asks "so what do you need" and I say I just need a new peddle and grips. The one I got from here a few years ago was really cheap and broke within a few months. Hugo immediately says "oh you didn't get that here, we don't carry that". Ok, not a big deal, I'm not going to argue. 

Hugo then says, "ok that's all you need". I say yes. He says, "Ok give me half an hour to an hour to fix". I'm thinking, really? A half an hour to an hour when I'm the first customer of the day to replace 1 pedal and open up a pack of 2 new grips? He says, "I know but I need to get ready". You need to get ready? "Ya, I need to get changed and ready". You need to get changed? You opened at 10am. He then tells me "It's a family run business, I need some time to get changed and ready". I say I have somewhere to be at 11am and that shouldn't be an excuse, the store hours are 10am-5pm today... He tells me "I'm sorry buddy, but that's not my problem." "NOT MY PROBLEM", he literally told me it was NOT HIS PROBLEM. HAHAHA, are you kidding me!!!!!!!!?????

I told him IT IS YOUR PROBLEM you work here. Your sign says 10am, not 10:03am, and a customer should not have to wait while you get changed before operating during business hours. He again says, "It's not my problem, it's a family run business what do you expect". I say I expect you to run like any other business. Do you want me to tell all my friends to never shop here again and write a bad review on Yelp? He again says, "I dont care, it's not my problem". Great advice Hugo.

So here is my review HUGO. You are by far the worst face a place of business should have representing it. I will never shop at your store again and I will definitely tell everyone who needs biking equipment, especially every single one of my biking friends, to never shop at Aviation Cyclery.
