for just being great folks.

I have rented from this location 3x since the initial incident.  Each time the experience has been above and beyond the Christmas rush.  Each time there has been several customers, some nice sone not so much, but Roberto holds the fort down professionally, with kindness and empathy as needed.  

The owner here in TO is a cool guy too.  Today is the first time I’ve seen him since Christmas and words can’t even begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for the simplest of things at times make the world of difference.  Being in customer service is not always easy and we as customers aren’t alway the best to deal with, but today my day was made by the manger here and it had nothing to do with his above and beyond kindness in correcting an issue with a previous rental. 

Hands down TO Avis Budget is the place to rent from locally.

Manager is never around, Robert kept kepping me to call all these numbers, none of which wpuld help. They Charged me $100 for 2 days over what we signed for and was told they could not resolve the issue because the couldn't find the file.....worst service and the guy kept trying to upsell us on a car we didn't request since they didn't have what we had reserved.

NOT ONLY did they request that I call to Check up, but transferred me AGAIN and yesterday when I was on the phone with the claims department, threatened me saying they would have to check the cameras since they accused me of lying and saying I didn't drop it off in time. So they CHARGED me $100 more and no one seems to be able to do a THING about. I've been transferred about 7x this morning. I feel like they're playing these games to avoid having to take ownership of the issue. Customer service has not helped a single bit, they put you on hold for so long they hang up on you!

Good car and good service. Getting the car needed a bit too much time tho but dropoff at  lax was super fast and easy

We generally like Avis, but this franchise gave us horrible customer service after we had to swap our car. The owner was not professional or helpful, and tried to pass responsibility off on Avis corporate.  From our limited experience at this location, stay away.
