We reserved online but there was no option to pay. We arrived just over an hour late and they had given our reservation away. They told us we had to wait an hour for another car. This would have been more palatable if the guy hadn't been a total jerk. He (Andrew) basically just kept saying it was our fault that we should know better etc. Delayed our entire trip by hours this week had to find another more reliable company. Will never use Avis again.

Pick-up was a breeze! There was no line and the front-desk staff was very friendly and efficient.  He even gave us an upgrade when we told him that we needed more luggage space. The price was cheaper than if we were to rent from LAX too. Loved the entire experience and I'll definitely come back in the future!

I will definitely be renting from Avis (Garfield in Alhambra) again! The whole process from pick up to drop off was super expedient and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We booked a compact car and got a 2015 (extremely gas efficient) Ford Focus! Two hours before pickup, I called and was told the car was ready for pickup. Upon drop off, the process took but 5 minutes and I was on my way again. I would recommend Avis for your next car rental!

I have been using Avis in Alhambra for about 5 years now with 2 or 3 rentals per year.  A great experience every time!!!-  staff remember me and are friendly and efficient.  Pick-up and return is quick and the location is convenient.  Never a problem with the car being ready, etc. and I always receive the size of car for which I made a reservation, which is good because I'm interested in the fuel economy.  I highly recommend this location and will continue going back.
