This bakery is AMAZING. They have this herb and olive oil covered bread (something de sol I think) that's probably one of the best loaves of bread I've ever had. The pastries here are also fabulous. I've had the pain au chocolate and a savory cheese tomato pastry that were both equally delicious. This is what baked goods and bread should taste like! Items can be a little pricey, but the quality makes it totally worth it.

Possibly best bakery in the US. Compared multiple times to the best places in New York and in San Francisco, and Babettes almost always comes out on top. They do have a distinct style, preferring more savory and almost burnt profiles, with very more light and airier but stronger in texture crusts in the pastries which are very well flavored and spiced. They do have heavier chocolate creations like lava cakes that are better then most serious restaurants serve in Denver. They also do very good paleo seed bread. On the weekends they often sell out by noon. The location is great also, as you get some bread, some cheese, and some fresh beer in the same building.

You may be able to find a cheaper croissant, but you won't ever find a better croissant in all of Denver.

The best bakery in Denver and one of the best in the country. Always stop when I'm in town.

Tremendous. I went here twice during my recent visit to Denver. I tried the Bear Claw, Double Chocolate Croissant, Ham and Cheese Croissant, and the Raspberry Almond Frangipan Danish. Everything was great. Go here!
