As the first coffee shop between New York City and Los Angeles, The Market has been a downtown Denver icon for 35 years.

Story

We are a locally owned and operated Deli and Bakery in the heart of lower downtown Denver (LoDo) in business since 1983. Aside from a few treats and snacks items are prepared fresh daily in house. We loved to have you join us for a meal, sandwich, snack, cup of coffee, or just to see your smiling face. Support your local establishments!

The Market has become my local spot, of choice. The spot serves some bang-up coffee and they keep it running, all day (Free refills, no less.) What I've tried, of the food, is excellent and there's quite a bit of variety. They'll fix you something fresh, for breakfast, or lunch. I mean, I could go on ... great atmosphere, cool staff, and great products. Go check 'em out, already.

I love the cozy environment of this cafe.  The coffee shop in front has delicious coffee and pastries.  But most often I find myself walking further inside to get lunch from the deli, which has a great variety of food options that make me feel like I’m eating a home cooked meal.  It’s always busy, but I never have to wait for service.  This is easily one of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat or pop in for a coffee, and I recommend it to all of my friends.  If you’re in the mood for a sweet treat, I would recommend the Napoleon and a cup of coffee!

I love this place. The chicken soup is my favorite - so many delicious veggie chunks! The whole place is cozy, with something new to see in every nook and cranny. I spend most lunch breaks here sipping espresso and working on various journals or writing. It has a delightful business to it, yet I never have trouble finding a seat or getting my food. Oh, and the Spring Fling cake is amazing. I'm convinced that the amount of fruit they pack into it balances out the health scales ;)

A little disappointed in the spring fling cake I bought today. There’s hardly any bread to the cake anymore, the majority is frosting. Still lots of fruit, which is delicious. Just wish there was more bread.

Large portions with many of options to choose from. Yes, they have vegan options. The layout can be confusing. Food is great but the staff there is sort of rude.
