My husband and I purchased a Badcock mattress with an adjustable electronic base a little over one year ago. With it, we also purchased the mattress cover recommended by the sales lady in the store. In approximately one year, the mattress has developed two spots where it is sunken in. It is unfortunate because this particular problem is causing both my husband and myself significant back pain (the reason we sought new mattress a year ago). When we purchased the mattress the woman helping us in the store went on and pm about the great warranty that will cover the mattress for ten years. However, when we contacted the company about this faulty mattress and they sent someone out to examine it, we were told that despite the concave portions, the warranty was voided due to a small stain on it! It is not as if we are trying to exchange the mattress just because we do not like it; this is faulty product that was poorly manufactured and a poor representation of the company as nothing about it stands for quality. Further, I am incredulous that the company would act as if a small stain on the mattress has somehow caused it to cave in on two separate locations! It is unrelated. Likewise, if I did have a high quality mattress that I decided to rub mud all over and then attempt to file a warranty claim on, anyone would look at it, see no evidence of wear, damage, or faulty construction, and tell me it was still in good shape, just dirty. The point? This is not a ten year warranty; if it was, then a spot on a mattress with sinking holes developing in it would be credited to our account.

Great store. We try the other local furniture stores but somehow end up buying from Badcock. Price and selection are better than the others.

After several uncomfortable high-pressure trips to furniture stores in the Lakeland area Badcock was a refreshing experience. Cathy let us know she was available immediately but respected our space allowing plenty of time to get a feel for their offerings. Once we made a selection ( sectional sofa ) she was ready to assist with our questions and the purchasing/financing process was quick and easy, looking forward to heading back soon.
