It’s so sad and shocking how quickly new ownership is ruining this local institution.  We’ve been loyal customers for 16 years and are very disappointed to have to move on from our tradition.  The place has just become totally unprofessional and undependable.  They were such a well oiled machine for years that knew their customers and knew when how many they needed to make of each kind of bagel and when they would need more.  Now by 8:30am on a weekend they will be out of popular types and it will be 90 minutes until they are ready with more.  If you call ahead, where they used to put them aside, they will give you wrong info and you’ll get there and not have the bagels you ordered.  I spoke to a couple of the long time workers I know and they admit it’s just not managed as well as it used to be.  Why acquire a successful business if you don’t want to maintain that success?

First time ever writing a review that’s how horrible this place is. Twice I’ve ordered a bagel toasted with jelly. Super simple, yet they messed up and when I go back for them to fix it, they are rude and treat me as if I was in the kitchen and screwed up my own order. Very interesting idea of customer service here. Bagels are good but I’ll take a hard pass to avoid the staff and save the 30 minutes it takes to get the bagel and then have them fix it.

I’ve been coming here for years and nothing has changed. I see almost all the same staff and they all say how much things are improving for the better!  The food is great and couldn’t be happier!

This place is delicious. My other bagel place recently changed owners and the quality declined. I went around trying several bagel places looking for something good. Several weeks later I found this place! Their sausage has the perfect amount of flavor and their bagels are made fresh and always soft. The pancakes are also the best in the area. I haven't tried their other foods but the breakfast foods are all very good.
