Ballpark Self Storage is ready to serve you with all of your storage needs and conveniently located in the heart of downtown San Diego! Besides our convenient location, we are a certified U-haul dealer. Entrances located all around the property allow for easy access to the storage units, available in a variety of sizes. Two elevators and moving carts help you move your items throughout the property with ease. Our facility is clean, safe and friendly. Whether it is commercial or residential storage, Ballpark Self Storage can handle it! We are located on Island Avenue between 6th and 7th St., just two blocks from Petco Park in a recently renovated large historical brick building.

This place is the best! Affordable, friendly staff and even give you coupons if you check in! If you're moving or just need boxes Ballpark storage is a must!

not the easiest spot to get in and out of but if you reside in the gaslamp it's a godsend. you will have to maneuver through many homeless types so keep your eyes on your valuables as you load and unload...UPDATE: management is VERY on top of assisting with any issues. +STAR ;-)!

Ballpark Storage the entire place could have used a new coat of paint 25 years ago. The elevators are newer than original hand-crank types but just barely by a few days; either one or both at the same time rarely work. There is one bathroom for over a 1,000 units, usually out of order unless the HOMELESS want to do their drugs or prostitution. Floors are wood, chipped and uneven. The staff are invited, allowed and appreciated when they are crude, curt, cavalier, belligerent with the customers. One of the Assistant managers are allowed to bring their wife and young children in so she can teach them how to use the company computer; if this employee is working the bathroom is PLACED OUT OF ORDER AS HE NEVER CLEANS IT. HE TAKES UP TO AN HOUR AND HALF LUNCH BREAK AND FERQUENTLY SHOWS UP TO OPEN 45 MINUTES LATE!!! Ballpark's policy is to nickel and dime you to death. There will eternally be a new charge or increase. People sleep in the hallways and storage units during the day. THERE ARE A LOT OF HOMELESS AT THIS CAMP.
