I've been a fan of bamboo for a long time. I've always told people it's the best Chinese food in Pittsburg. But last night was pitiful. I ordered shrimp lo mein, while eating it I came across three shrimp that were not properly deveined. I took my food back to the restaurant to show them the mistake and to have the issue resolved. The lady behind the counter went to go get a manager. But rather than the manager come and address the problem she sent the cashier back to tell me the shrimp comes already deveined and there was nothing they could do. What an excuse, so you don't train your cooks to inspect the food? You're telling me that you'd be ok to get dirty shrimp in your meal? I was hoping they would have at least apologized for the mishap and possibly given me a voucher for another a meal or refunded my money. But nope. So I not be eating here anymore. The lack of customer service they showed to me as a paying customer is just disrespectful.

I have tried this place on three different times and all three the food has been horrible. I give this place a Negative 10 its that bad. I will never try it again order something from there today and feed it to the dogs because the rice was over cooked and mushy.

Ate there several times when they reopened and it was good, but it progressively got worse and worse until I finally had enough of stale Crab Rangoon and Chicken so tough it couldn't be chewed. Not to mention I always ordered egg rolls and only got them a few times because they would give me spring rolls instead. We now go to lotus express, it might take an hour in the drive thru but the food is always fresh and cheaper.

Called in order for pick up but did not receive all that I ordered. Also, chicken was dry , tough & tasted odd, not good this evening!

Not that bad of food but they need to work on customer service over the phone and my food takes 1 hour to get done and here
