I took my dog for his dental and first thing walking up we weren’t greeted by the lady behind the counter and stood there several minutes awkwardly until she looked up from the computer. Her name is Nisha I believe. We dropped him off and was told pick up would be between 3pm-5pm and we would be called as soon as he’s ready. We get a call from the same woman (Nisha) around 1pm saying he’s ready. I asked twice is she sure and after the third time asking she said she would go check and still told us he was ready. We immediately go to get him and was told by another woman that he’s not ready and we shouldn’t have been called yet. We go back home and wait. 5pm comes around so I call to see what’s going on and they tell me he’s ready but no one called even after I repeatedly requested I was notified immediately. Once we get him home we notice there’s lots of red, swollen irritation all over his ankles. It looks like it could be from restraints or medical tape that sat on too long. It’s very tender and bothering him. I called Banfield to see what happened and again Nisha put me on hold for ten minutes so I finally hung up and emailed the corporate office. They said they would get back to me in 3-5 business days. Today is business day number 6 and no word. I will never take here again and it makes me cringe to think about what could have or did happen to my baby. I’m kicking myself for taking him there in the first place.

Only good thing about this place is the Vet, he gave me lots of information and helped me determine how much it would cost to take care of a departed friends pet who had loads of health issues

We used to have a good impression with this place but quality has deteriorated.  Over the last couple years we've had wait longer every time at this location.  Doesn't matter if it's an appointment or a drop off, it's a wait.  Not that big of a deal, I guess, if it were cheaper.  The customer service has declined too - not doing care that we asked, doctors clearly slammed with patients and not able help much.

My sense is that they just have too many clients and not enough staff.  I think everyone there cares but is just overworked.  A few years ago it was a good deal in Pensacola, but I don't think we're going to renew our plans for our dogs.  There are some other places in town with similar or shorter waits and smaller costs, even with the care plans.

Love the way they care for our three pets!!  Doctor's actually call you and check on your pets the day after their visits
