This is a good place to go if you need basic vet care at reasonable prices. Vets that can actually see your pet after 5pm during the week or on the weekend are accessible which is rarely the case with most of the practices in the Pensacola and surrounding areas. Just be prepared to wait a while even if you have an appointment.

Went on a Sunday for an emergency dog visit (she broke a nail very high up in the paw area). Receptionist was great and even offered us drinks while we waited. Vet on duty was friendly and very thorough. Even though we already have a vet, this place is good place to go for emergencies.

I will never come back to this place. Front office is filled with a bunch of high school aged/mannered receptionists that behave as if they are volunteering their time to be there. I walk in and stand in line waiting to check in. There is only one girl at the counter and she is on the phone. After 10 minutes, she is still on the phone and never had the thought to even acknowledge my presence. I look around and see poop and pee scattered around the office that has been neglected and begin to realize there is even some on my shoe cause its,.... everywhere. I politely, in a loud whisper as to not disturb the phone call inform the receptionist that I will take a seat directly in front of her until she is available to check me in for my 2pm appointment(so i can clean poop off my shoes in the meantime). After another 15 minutes, the receptionist retreats to the rear with the phone and a new receptionist emerges to assist. She doesn't have the sense to ask the customers who was next and just starts checking folks in. By the time I arrive to the counter it is nearly 2:20pm because the new receptionist had only recently emerged and she then informs me that there is at least an additional 45 minute wait for my 2pm appointment. She then goes on to explain that a 45 minute wait is normal and that she DID NOT just give my appointment time away to one of the newly arrived walk ins. After pressing her on how a 45 minute wait in addition to the 30 minutes I had already spent in the office waiting is not normal, the truth comes out. She explains I need to check in when I first arrive(duhh, ya dummy) and I should have not have left the counter(that would have meant 30 minutes of standing in a room filled with chairs while holding my dog and his medical records). At this point, I just decide to leave. These people are telling me I need to check-in as if I do not require their cooperation to do so. I know she was probably never informed by the previous receptionist that I had been waiting so it is not all her fault but the way she refused to accept responsibility, convince me it was my fault for taking a seat in the waiting room, and in the end attempting to convince me that a 45 minute wait was normal is ridiculous. I personally pride myself on providing the best customer service in my line of work so when I meet people like this I cant help but be disgusted. Only in a office along nine mile road does this service float. God forbid people stop choosing their Vets based purely on location to their homes this place would have went out of business long ago. I'm sure this place has highly capable vets but sometimes its just about how you treat the people first and foremost. Clean the poop and piss off your floors!!!! If your on a long call, acknowledge the customers and let them know you will be with them as soon as possible, or call for additional help! Its 2018, this is easy stuff! Every business runs behind at times but if you run behind by over 45 minutes REGULARLY, you have a management problem. Stop hiring the bratty kids of your friends or neighbors and get some people in there that appreciate the opportunity and understand how to work with the public. You find better service at a BestBuy. I thought the customer was always right? at this place, the young blonde of high school maturity will make sure you leave knowing she is. Go to this place if you want poop on your shoes and a minimum wait time of 45 minutes for your appointment. Place is a joke and exemplifies what is wrong with small business.

We have both cats & dogs and all get seen at scenic hills. Their veterinarians are exceptional & truly care about their patients. Plus,they are also very affordable as well,which is a godsend for people like my husband & I,who are both disabled. Highly recommended!

Great staff and veterinarian. Perfect location for our family. Being able to walk in when you have an emergency or an issue that can't wait is marvelous.
