Please read and share our experience Bank of America I had a very disturbing incident occur at a Bank of America branch in Virginia Beach on first colonial Road. I'm in Virginia to care for my mother who is at Sentara hospital she's a cancer patient there. On Thursday 6/22/17 I stopped at the above mentioned branch not realizing it was five o'clock in the afternoon and closing time for the bank. As we drove up ,and there were four other Bank of America customers in the car with me. As we drove up we see a gentleman unlocking the front door and allowing people who are walking up the sidewalk from the parking lot to enter the bank. We said that's odd this must be a bad neighborhood they are unlocking the door to limit how many people come in. So my cousin and I we both approach the bank as well directly behind, maybe about four steps behind the last gentleman that was allowed into the bank. Well we get to the bank and the gentleman that was unlocking the door and letting everyone else in would not allow us into the bank. He yelled through the glass door that they were closed. Well I asked him sir you have just allow three other people into this The bank you unlocked the door, we watched you unlock the door. so why are you not allowing us access to the bank to take care of our banking needs? He stutters and he stammers because there is only one clear reason why he did not allow us into the bank. My cousin and I are both African-American women and the 3 to 4 people that we witnessed Bradley opening the door for we're all White. So having been in the banking industry the first thing I know is this protocol strictly says when the bank closes the bank closes no one else is allowed into the branch after the bank is closed you only let people out you don't let people in. But if you're gonna break policy and do that publicly you better be prepared to let everybody in. Bradley is the branch manager Bradley is also the person that was unlocking the door and letting in selective bank of America customers. I am certain that there is video showing this practice and if he did it that day he's been doing it all along but the shocking part for me is that I am a 30 year Bank of America customer and solely because of the color of my skin or my gender or both, I was not allowed the same privilege or courtesy and access to that bank as others I intend to post this and share this with anybody that I can and I'm moving all of my accounts. I'd like a call from BOA please message me who I can call. Bank of (select) America is more appropriate. This has shocked me and disturbed us both. Update 6/26-17 bradleys boss has called me after his view of the video. He has acknowledged and agrees on points that the treatment was wrong and that the video does in fact support my description of the discrimination he went on to say when the bank closes the bank is closed to all. He went on to say he spoke to Bradley's diverse team and that none of them felt any discrimination. Well first of all employees will always protect their jobs and thy would need to done anonymously. Also what happened to us was part of who he is and Bradley hides his real self up to the day he couldn't when we tried to access the bank. I will not let this go. Friends and family please share

I go here at least once a week since its right next to my house. EVERYTIME I go there, there is ALWAYS only one person who works and theres ALWAYS a long wait of a line because the lack of workers there. Trying to get them on the phone is like trying to call the DMV. Its ridiculous. Hopefully my review helps others before actually going to this bank.

Bank of America is a Professional + Polite place to do your banking. Courtesy + respect are a Must for me. They get 5 Stars. *****

The line inside are horrible. They only have one person during the day. With a line out the door. I stood in line for 18min!

Only one teller working on a friday afternoon , thats twice ive been in here and had to w8 15 minutes with only 3 people in front of me , come on bank of america , get with the program !
