This ER has it going on. I was traveling across country, I needed to be seen so I stopped. I checked in, within minutes three nurses took my vitals and asked me about my symptoms. Like they actually did care. Then I was immediately taken in for an IV and blood draw. IV was done perfectly (I get seen often). Then right to my room where the staff was attentive, informative and complete. I was visited by more than one Dr. I was in at 7 and out by 9 and that included multiple tests. I wish all ERs were ran like this one.

Had excruciating abdominal pain-- 10 out of 10. Had waited 3 hours at TMC ED without being allowed to see a doctor or get any pain meds (though they collected my $200 right away). Left and went to UMC and was admitted and helped as soon as I got there. CT scan UMC did that night showed a serious medical problem. Next time I will go to UMC ER first!

The staff was super friendly and informative for the duration of my visit in the emergency area. Everything was explained thoroughly and the staff really seemed to know what the best options were for my situation.
