Today I took my boyfriend to the ER for severe stomach pain and nausea. Since 8 am, he had been puking white foam. Once we were omitted into the ER, the nurses were not consistent. I had to constantly find a nurse to help him. He was put into a room with just a chair and IV, when he could barely sit up because of his stomach. The entire time he was in extreme pain and the nurses still did not check in on him. Normally, if the hospital was busy this would be understandable but there were hardly any patients. Finally they put him into a room with a bed where he could rest his stomach. TWICE I had to remind the nurses to change his IV. When I'd find nurses, many of them were seen talking amongst each other casually. The patient discharge process took forever. Once he was fine and able to go home, we waited and hour and a half just to receive discharge papers. Whenever I would ask questions, I was merely brushed off. Very disappointed with the lack of consistency and professionalism here, will not be coming here again for the same service.
