Welcome to Barton-Clay Fine Jewelers!Since 1987, Barton-Clay Fine Jewelers has been the premier jeweler in Birmingham, Alabama. We are a family-owned and operated business with over 50 years of experience. Our friendly and professional staff work to provide quality services and products at reasonable prices.At Barton-Clay Fine Jewelers, we offer jewelry and watch sales and repair. We specialize in Rolex watch repair and Montblanc pen repair. Other brands we service are Panerai, Breitling, Baume et Mercier, Luminox, Bell & Ross, and Swiss Army. Barton-Clay has a full-time designer/craftsman, a full-time jeweler, and a full-time Certified 21st Century watchmaker/Exam Administrator. I've purchased a few items from Barton Clay and can honestly say I've enjoyed doing business with them. The staff there is friendly, personable, and greets me by my first name every time I walk in the door! I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a fine watch or other piece of jewelry.

I went to Barton clay to purchase a strap for my watch. The service I received was remarkable, from start to finish. The staff was very knowledgeable and paid the utmost attention to detail. Their watch selection is incredible and their jewelry is unique. I would recommend this jewelry store to anyone.

Great customer service! I've taken a few of my vintage watches in for service along with some of my newer watches. Wide variety of watches that you would normally have to drive for hours or out of state to see. I also bought my wife's ring here many years ago. Lots of other selections as well.

Terrible customer service.  

My girlfriend took in my watch to be repaired.  She had a tennis bracelet from there, and her family had used them for years.  Great!  Not great. 

 I call and tell them it's my watch, give them my name and number (or so I thought), get the estimate, approve repairs, etc.  Should take 2-3 weeks. 

I call on a Saturday around when it should have been finished, and they could not find record of the watch, and their watch maker was out.  I call the next week, get put on hold while they look, finally figure out it's not finished and still under my girlfriends name, and then Eric very rudely blames me for them not being able to find it.  

I took it back half repaired and will go across the street to Brombergs.
